Overview
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to give a general concept of aerospace technology and its applications through knowledge and understanding of systems engineering, project management, and orbital mechanics. Students will obtain fundamental techniques necessary for the development of large systems and will be able to identify the applicability of satellites from the operational view point.
Learning Outcomes:
The students on the completion of the course would be able to:
1. Comprehend the general concept of aerospace technology and recent trends of aerospace technology.
2. Tell the effective area to apply the aerospace technology for engineering and development.
3. Explain the fundamental techniques of systems engineering and project management.
4. Master the basic theory of orbital mechanics governing the orbital motion of spacecrafts.
5. Develop own idea about space exploration and human potential.
